2012 Grand Caravan, 3.6L Pentastar w/155K miles. Bought new in 2012 and serviced every 3K with Pennzoil Platinum 5W30, Mopar, Wix & Fram oil filters. Van mostly driven short trips.

Not bad for a Pentastar with this mileage, but i would get on the VRP for a few OCIs to clean things up before it gets much further along!

I’m a little disappointed in that crud buildup in last picture on whatever solenoid sensor that is as well as the golden staining/varnish. Makes me wonder what the ring areas look like from all I have learned here at BITOG.

Definitely not bad by any means as compared to some horror pictures. Some spots are like brand ne and then that carboned/caked on stuff?

Picture #4 . Is that timing chain? Why does it look crooked compared to shaft or whatever is to the right of it? Something being replaced?

I expect it more clean with GTL oil.

Cam lobes are worn out or it is normal ?
