I have an oc coming up on our 2008 Impreza 2.5 non turbo. I have three qts of Castrol gold bottle 10w30 (older sm rated) and a mixed qt of 5w30 pp/m1 (sn rated). I typically do 7500mi oci which takes around 9 months to get to this point. Good to go?

Go for it, it wouldn't hurt anything. My car holds 4.5 quarts so every time I do a oil change I have some left over and I'm always throwing it in a 5 quart jug to use in the future.

Good idea. Be sure to keep track of the viscosity of the various blends of leftover oil: i.e. 20-weight versus 30-weight and label things accordingly.

I did exactly the same thing for a couple years, when both cars i changed took 4.5 (when i had enough for an oil change, i sent a sample in for a voa, everything looked good, and the viscosity was right in between a 5w20, & 5w30 - a 5w25 if you will)
now that one was replaced, and the "new"car takes 5.5.
so i use a 5qt jug of 5w20, and a pint(.5qt) of 5w30 leftover from the other car.

Old school here but, I prefer not to mix when possible. Probably almost never an issue but;

Mixing is not best practice.
Based upon what we've seen here recently, there are documented cases of interactions between different VIIs making the mix much thicker at cold temperatures than either oil would have been on its own.
In Georgia, this might not matter.
In the north in the winter, it might.
I will therefore limit any blends to summer duty only.
