Long story short, yes. I don't know if you missed this link, but there's more info in this thread:

Beck/Arnley sources and distributes parts. They aren't a manufacturer. Their niche is high-end aftermarket parts that are often sourced from OE suppliers, but they do say they also source parts that "match OE."

My experience is that Beck/Arnley parts are often quite affordable when ordered online but are significantly better quality than a lot of other aftermarket brands, especially the common ones from the auto parts chains. The ones I've bought have all fit and worked great, so far.

These pads specifically are part of BA's 089 series, which claim to be sourced from the OE suppliers and use same friction material formulation as the OE pads. Basically, they claim you'll be getting the same friction material formula as dealer pads, but at less cost. On this line of pads, they source them from the OEM supplies and then leave them in boxes with the supplier's brand on it. Centric's 100 series is another line of pads that claims to use the OE friction formulation.

Here's a video with more info:

This is why I like buying OEM parts (or from a high quality manufacturer or distributor like Beck/Arnley).

All of the genuine OEM Honda parts I bought for our Acura's timing belt job were made in either Japan or the United States. Nothing from China.

Well, it's been several months and the car is stopping fine. I just drove it today.

The Zimmermamn rotors are working fine so far.

Here's a quick pic I snapped while I had the wheel off.

The brakes are working great. The pads bedded-in fine and the car is stopping very well.

I sort of find it ironic to buy parts made in Germany to avoid parts made in China, for a car that for the 2000 model year was made in Mexico.

I don't see anything "ironic" about it, and I would question your use of the word "ironic" in that context.

I suppose you're making the claim that it's situational irony to seek First World products for a car that wasn't made in the First World. I don't agree.

What you aren't considering is that the OE rotors were not made in China, so I'm not trying to get something better than OE or put quality products on a low-quality car. I'm trying to avoid the cheap Chinese rotors sold by companies and get something closer to the OE quality.

You have to love the internet and its love of misusing the word "irony."

Well think about it. Your looking to avoid rotors from China for manufacturing quality issues, right?. You have a 2000 VW Beetle (love VW) that was never known as a reliable car, built in Mexico that many here equate with China in quality (I disagree, Mexico is the 4th largest auto manufacturer in the world). That is Ironic.

I think you need to think about it. You're making a lot of assumptions in crafting your ironic situation. You're assuming, first of all, that "many of us" assume Mexico = China, which many of us don't.

Think about it...
