Inherited a 2017 Cadillac XTS

I have a 2018, one of the best-driving cars we have owned. I replaced the cue screen, not easy but doable. it a pain to get all the screws out and back in the center arm rest, just take your time I lost a few but no rattles and work well.

I couldn't find any record of these being replaced, my dad claims he didn't change them. I was surprised how clean they were. Engine on left, cabin on right.

I haven’t been there since I was a kid, I’ll have to try them out.

They’re actually distant family members of mine. My great-grandma was Alice “Lindstrom” and it was her brother or someone that started it.

I went there for the handwash, the car really needed it and I only have a small window in the evening I can wash it in the shade and I just haven't had time.

Which do you prefer, the XT4 or Cadillac cars? My wife likes my XT4 and I'm used to cars so I was thinking about a CT4 or CT5.

Really apples and oranges. I think the XT4 makes the most sense, the packaging is excellent. It's small on the outside, has a nice ride height. 4 adults fit comfortably and if you fold the rear seats down anything will fit in it. It's quiet and comfortable on the inside as well.

The XTS has a much longer wheelbase and magnetic ride control so the ride is excellent. The V6 is also smoother than the turbo four.

Both are great cars with different purposes.

Soo how long before those inspection and emission stickers are getting razor bladed off there? :ROFLMAO:

That's on my to do list. I replaced the CUE screen last week, here are some pictures if anyone is interested in what the CUE module looks like. It was straightforward to replace and the new screen was $140.

Nice car! I have one 4x4 with true off-road capability. I like it a lot but I have no interest in owning a CUV- I plan to drive either coupes or sedans for the foreseeable future.

Forgive me BITOG for I have sinned, I took my car to the dealer for service. I wanted to get the brake fluid swapped and I have no way to get all four wheels off the ground to bleed them. It's also 100+ out so an oil change and coolant drain and fill didn't sound too appealing so I decided just to let the local Cadillac dealer handle it. Dropped it off at 9:30 AM which was a breeze, they ordered a Lyft for me back home. It was done by 1:30 and they sent me a link for a Lyft back, couldn't have gone any smoother. Checked the car over when I got it home, oil, brake and coolant were all new and right at the full lines. They washed the car as well, it looked great. Total with tax and shop fees was $550, I think that was more than fair. They didn't try and upsell a thing, and didn't question what I asked them to do.

No transmission and 4X4 services to round out the wallet flushes?

It has 140k on it and they both should be recommended. The odd thing is my dad took this car to the local Cadillac dealer in PA for every oil change and I see nothing in any of the receipts recommending the coolant or brake fluid when it's clearly a scheduled service in the manual. The transmission fluid is only for severe service and there is no mention of any service for the transfer case.
