Yes, Allison lists "Mobil Delvac Synthetic ATF":

http://www.allisontransmission.com/service/autoapp172/viewpage.jsp?ThisPage=3

"Delvac" is a Mobil trademark for certain diesel engine oils, as well as Mobil Delvac Hydraulic 10W, and Mobil Delvac Xtreme Service Grease.

Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF meets Allison C-4, as does their AAMCO ATF D/M, Mobil Mercon V Synthetic Blend ATF, Mobiltrans SHC Arctic, Mobil Multipurpose ATF, Mobiltrans AST, Mobiltrans HD, and Mobilfluid 424 in agricultural applications.

Here's a thread on the TES295 spec, which

You might contact ExxonMobil customer service and see if there is an unlisted ATF being distributed in bulk drums to the trucking industry that is not listed in their catalog.

.

All old news.

And "Delvac 1300" is a C4 oil also.

My mobil dealer doesn't have any info yet. Must be new as it was certified TES295 in Jan 05.

So, does anybody know anything about the "Delvac Synthetic ATF?"

Thanks

Why don't you contact ExxonMobil "customer service and see if there is an unlisted ATF" directly? That way it won't be "old news" and you'll find out if there is such an animal and where it is sold if it exists.

Here's their mail address and phone number:

Exxon Mobil Corporation
3225 Gallows Road
Fairfax, VA 22037
1-800-Mobil25 (662-4525)

and here's the url on their customer service on-line contact form:

http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/Home/Contact_Us.aspx

Try one of these and the news you get will be new and accurate.

There you go, all kinds of good info.

You never did state the application or vehicle.

Are you sure they did not mean Delvac 5W40 motor oil being dual purpose as ATF for applications calling for DEX III. I seem to remember a post about a Mobil Distibutor at a Military Expo in Vegas claiming it could be used in Automatic transmissions to reduce fluid logistics!
