increased oil capacity mean you can increase OCI?

Right, but just pointing out they can swing a tad. Heck, I couldn't sit in long line at Burger King in my 82 BMW 320i. Good thing that car was near indestructable. I've regretted selling that car for the past 12 years.

the coolant temps in a SRT4 fluctuate(sp) quite a bit. stock t-stat is 195f, but if im sitting in traffic, it will creep up to 212f until the fan comes on. the second high speed fan comes on at 220f I believe. The last time I was on a road course, I was stable at 220f coolant temps, and 260f for oil temps with Redline 10w40. the previous track day yeilded oil temps of 240 degrees all day with the same oil.

normal day to day driving yeilds oil temps between 192-215f with redline 10w40. my motor is barely modified and the coolant and oiling systems are not modified at all.

What does dwell time have to do with it?
