Funny, I know that car (but not your BIL). And I love it; one of my favorite American cars ever if not favorite.

It is local here and I’ve seen it both on the road and at that show, a casual local affair. We’ve shown cars there, too (my Dad/brother’s).

My BIL and sister live in Gig Harbor. You may have seen my 68 as well.
Mark just had the FI unit worked on; there is a guy east of Sacramento who has a fix for the famous vapor lock issue.
He has 3 units and has become pretty knowledgeable. I think he should write a book...

Yep, that’s where we are. I do know I’ve seen the ‘62 at least once on the road, besides at the show. I don’t recall a nice Mako offhand but will keep an eye out now! We were at that show this year; my dad brought a ‘32 Dodge Sedan.

Recently I have been reading up on the ins/outs of the late C1 as a possible future candidate.

I am so for that old split window VW bus. I had a 59 that I made into a camper and it was awesome and reliable. I just kept up the maintenance. Also had a 55VW bug. My Dad had the awesome Thunderbird's in the 60's

I had one with the 345 - it must have sent gasoline out the exhaust

My neighbor across the street had one in orange....Loved the lift off hood and the six pack...
