If you could drive any car across USA...,

I would say my '87 Jaguar XJ6 but since it really doesn't have the power to make back roads REALLY fun, I'd have to say a new Jaguar XJR- Radiance Red with the Charoal interior and 19" wheels (not that I've dreamed about this before or anything

). 400hp, all the grace and comfort of a Jaguar, R suspension, Brembo brakes, Connelly leather, etc. You can have fun and not get beat up.

On a recent trip to the in-laws in rural north-eastern Washington, we took the '87 XJ6 on the 300 mile journey. By the time we got there we weren't even tired! The car handles wonderfully for a 4000lb beast and cradles its passengers like a glove. There's nothing better. You all can keep your hot-rods, super cars and muscle cars for the trip across the country. A Jag is the ONLY way to go

which car would you choose for the journey? Imagine it's Summertime, somebody else is picking up the tab on gas, food, hotel, etc. you just have to drive...

I have never driven one, but I am quite sure a new Corvette would be a blast on the interstates...
