Idea- separate ARX forum

I've noticed- that about 30% of the topics in the addatives section seem to be in relation to ARX...

In the same way that we have a forum dedicated to (primarily) GC (other import oils occassionally are mentioned)... maybe we should have a separate forum for ARX here on BITIG?

Has this been considered?

Would be a place for users of arx to share questions and experiences/pictures...

Problem is people who surf use this site just like
Cosumers Report and what they quickly see if it is of interest they visit site. They are not going into the depth of this or any other message board (to much work)one of the best tests ever done on Auto-Rx is located on www.cycle-rx.com have you read it? if so sure you would know Auto-Rx is the single best thing you can do to "ANY" engine. By the way read the bike owners narrative.

Too many different forums can dilute a good bulletin board. ARX threads will crop up in the additives forum and in other areas of the board and that keeps things interesting IMO. Bad enough that German Castrol has it's own forum. GC threads shouldn't be isolated from the Mobil 1, Amsoil, Valvoline, Quaker State, etc. threads. Not a knock on the admins, this is a great site and valuable source of info. I could see one forum for dino and the other for synthetics and the rest the same as they are. Ask 50 people, get 60 different ideas of how it should be done.

I kind of see it both ways, but given what is said above, better to leave well enough alone. Get too fragmented and people will start posting the same thing in two different forums.

I say leave it in. I never go to the GC forum because I don't use GC. I would have never gone to an ARX forum before I used it either.

I agree with the above posts too many forums will get more confusing.

I think that in keeping with the spirit here at BITOG, we should have three seperate forums. One for the "A," another for the "R", and a third for the "X".

Does auto-RX have it's own forum? I think that would be a good idea, some people don't like to e-mail or call for tech support.

I wouldn't advocate cluttering things by adding another forum, but I think the Auto RX has enough of a following to warrant its own forum. It seems just as many people who use GC use Auto RX, so I say give it a shot.

generall consensus seems to be to leave the bitog arrangement alone- and i'm convinced- good points have been made.
