i just cleaned out my IAC. before i cleaned my throttle body with throttle body cleaner (sea foam) and it really worked...then just recently i took off my IAC and noticed that the screen was black...i sprayed a little bit of sea foam on there then wipped it with a q-tip. then got the edges with a small screw driver and now its beutiful.

after i sprayed sea foam into the intake manifold where it came out to go to the IAC. now my car picks up wayy better now!

is there any thing else in the intake area in which i can clean out?? hehe im addicted to this, it feels soo good.

my NOx on my smog test pointed that out....it was still safe but it can be a factor...ok ill play with that...so i spray it into the EGR vacumn line?

Whatever you do, don't spray any solvent in the EGR valve. The diaphram in there gets damaged by solvents. To clean the EGR passage, it's best to remove the EGR valve (can be a tad tricky), then use an electric drill with a flexible wire to clean out the EGR passage. Blow all the soot and debris out with compressed air. You will probably need a new gasket if you remove the EGR valve.
