Best advice since hand sanitizers are ineffective against the norovirus.

Because the illness is airborne or because alcohol (in the sanitizer product) doesn't kill norovirus?

Agreed, and don't rely on hand sanitizer. What I've always heard is that it, and washing, doesn't necessarily kill everything. However, at least with washing, the whatever is washed off and away.... I always notice a good % of men not washing hands in public restrooms. Why, dunno.
I had something annoying for about 7 days. Everyone in the family got it. Of the 4 people, I received both vaccines and the severity of my symptoms was about 1/3 of the others. Coincidence? dunno.

Friday headache, extremely phlegmy nose, scratchy throat. Saturday worse, took Covid test, positive. Started Paxlovid Sunday morning, pretty much better right now. Metallic taste in mouth no fun though.
