I was called an Oil Nerd today....

A friend came over and saw me with this website up and could not believe I was reading about motor oil.
I have been an Oil Nerd for 40 years since I was a litle kid with Honda SL70 motorcycle in 1971 when I was 14.
In the 23 motorcycles I owned I would change the Oil every 1k miles....sometimes less.
I cant help myself....at wal-mart I go to the oil section or the ammo.
Im an Oil Nerd.

I here ya, my Mom was over at my house and saw that I was on this site, she thinks I am obsessed about motor oil, she even asked who was this Bob Guy.

My GF calls me that too. At walmart I always have to hit the Oil section even if I'm not buying any that day.

Been There. Wife saw my pics of our lawn mower engine with 1200 hours. She asked does it look okay? I was like ya, looks new. Her idea of cleaning an automotive air filter is to run it in the dishwasher

Thank goodness I take care of most maintenance. If I have a question, I post here.
