I tried to buy Kendall oil, I really tried!

So It's time for an OC on the Nitro. Kendall GT-1 has peaked my interest. I'm at the tire shop getting my winters swapped out for my regular set and I see a Kendall sign. I think to my self, I'm in luck. So I inquire about the oil and how much per liter for the Semi & the Full Syn. Price is good so I settle on Full Syn. Out of luck they are out. OK...I'll go with the Blend. Out of luck again, they only have it in bulk. OK..I move on. There is an Import Auto delear in town ( high end used vehicles - corvettes,lambo's porche, etc) and they have a garage and they have a Kendall sign up. So I swing in there and ask if they have any bottles of Kendall. Yes they do! ok...maybe it is my lucky day. Ask about pricing,and he says they do not have the blend but the full syn. I take a look on the shelf and the label is red and says Syn Blend. I state that what he has is the Blend which is OK I'll take it at the Blend price. He says no, this is the full Syn. I look again in case I misread and it was clearly the red label and says Synthetic Blend on the bottles. I state " are you sure, it says Syn Blen right here" as I point to the label. He with confidence states, no, this is the full syn stuff. I turned around and walked out.Either he is incredibly stupid or ripping people off by charging the full syn price for the blend product.

I really did try to get Kendall, but today was not my day.
Canadian Tire had 5L QSUD on for %40 off (last day). Too good of a bargain to pass up.

Froggy, no doubt in my mind he tried to rip you off. I bet he got into the lie, and after you challenged him, he was too afraid to back off.

Can Tire has Formula 1 Full Synthetic for $23.99 for 5L jug starting Friday, and had GC for $7.99L Check those out...

Try and order it offline man. Just do a search for Kendall motor oil, and a few sites come up that sell it. Amazon sells it, but it is 12, 1qt bottles. I believe price is about 47-50.00. I know you stated bulk wasn't really an interest, but you could always have the left over for the next oil change.

You guys should run to the local walmart and grab a couple jugs of PP for 24.88$ Im glad i did. Changed the oil in the versa today and threw on a nice wix filter. Could barely hear the engine running before but know I have to put my ear to it.

Advance is having a special right now, 5qt jug of PP, and a K&N oil filter for $31, and 25% off any additional quart bottles of PP. I picked some up for the equinox while I was there, as that's a decent enough deal.

Dang, at work we have nothing but Kendall. Of course we are owned by Firestone. I didn't know anything about the Kendall stuff other than it has Conaco on the back. I use the HM stuff. Works great for me.
