....Jescar Power Lock Plus Polymer Sealant. The paint feels buttery smooth. We'll see how long it lasts. I'll keep you updated.

I just washed the car yesterday, and then finished washing the car and completing the wax job. I don't think the water beads up qauite as well with this stuff when compared to the TW Shine and Seal. We'll see how long it lasts.

I'm thinking about putting TW Shine and Seal on top of this stuff. Thoughts?

TW S&S is a pretty durable off the shelf sealant. You could give a shot. Not sure how it will play with Jescar underneath but give it a go.

Are you not happy with the Jescar?

Water doesn't bead up as well with the Jescar as it does with the TW S&S. I'm wondering about durability, too. We'll see.

Jescar type sealants are a bit dated IMO, but people still like them. There are better products on the market now.

Update: the Jescar is still beading well. I think it's a keeper.

Update: I washed the car a couple of days ago. The beading seems to be diminishing rapidly. I think I'll go back to TW S&S.

I've never used this but I did use a sealant on my boss' Range Rover many years ago detailing as it had brake dusk like crazy.

Been using Jescar Power lock plus over a ceramic sealer for awhile on my old Toyota. Granted, the paint is 22yrs old. I'm not expecting miracles here. And the car was outdoors it's entire life. Found the Jescar's works well, on my particular application, for about a month. Did some research, found that if I use Collinite 845 over the Jescar, it will extend the " beading" life / UV protection, etc. The Jescar's does leave a fantastic shine. Easy on, easy off. Haven't tried the Collinite 845 yet. Waiting on it's delivery. Heard nothing but good things about using these 2 in combo. Allegedly, it lasts 6-9 months. We'll see.

I'm kinda new at this game. Believe it or not, the Jescar's + was just sitting on the garage shelf. Had the sinks in the bathrooms " re-sprayed",,because they suffered damage from " excessive thermal heating" They are garbage faux granite the builder put in :(.. Anyway, the repair guy said to use Jescar's + on them for added protection. So, I bought it, do the sinks every so often, then looked at the Toyota. Can't hurt I said to myself. Didn't realize Jescar's was so dated. Learn something new every day thanks to all of you. Already bought the Collinite 845. I'm in no rush. If the combo of Jescar's and Collinite doesn't pan out, I'll try the TW S&S . I'm kinda stuck in the past a bit. Use to be dish detergent, brillo for the whitewall's, slap some Turtle wax or Rally Wax right over the water marks, in full sunlight :) No towel dry, no such animal as microfiber, just sun dry and get a tan all at once... All of you are great ! Thanks :)

I did my truck with Jescar ultra lock. It looked terrific and felt slick. However, after 1 drive in the rain, the sides of the truck had lost maybe 50% of the hydrophobic quality. That was disappointing. The shine is great, but I question the durability. Most other products I use don’t diminish that quickly.

Just detailed the wife's Honda using Collinite 845. I like how it went on, and how the car looks.

Yeah :(.....sounds like from what I'm reading the Jescar + is outdated. Oh well... The Collinite 845 is on it's way ( Yay) ! Hopefully the combo of the Jescar + and Collinite 845 will be give added protection to my cars. BTW, how do you add cars under you're " name". ? I see lots of posts with a bunch of cars listed under the thread starter's name.
