I finally pulled the triger on ordering some Flowmaster mufflers today from Summit Racing.

I bought 2 Flowmaster 50's DeltaFlow 2" offset/center mufflers.

They are for a '95 K1500 with 350TBI and Flowtech Headers.

When I bought the truck in Aug of '05, it already had the headers and a dual exhaust with no cats and these horrible generic 14" case mufflers. They sounded like glasspacks and were terrible. Since the truck was not a daily driver, I havent gotten around to buying new mufflers.

When they arrive and I have them installed this weekend, I will give an update!

Flowmasters sound great on just about anything from a big block V8 to a japanese 1.3 litre. If you're running with no cats this contributes to the #@$%! sound, if you still dont like the sound after the new mufflers go on, either install cats or resonators in their place before the mufflers.

Good luck.

She griped so bad and witheld stuff until I went back to stock.....something about the sound being too loud. Frankly I wasn't hearing any of it, but what the wife wants........

Good thing you didn't have a whistler tip Pablo.

"Then you got the Flows; they ain't trippin' on the Flowmasters." -- Bubb Rubb

The whistles go WOOOO!

Oooo, sorry Pablo. My wife is the opposite. When I put a Flowmaster on our Durango, she insisted it was HER truck and I was stuck driving the Windstar.

I had 2 chamber Flowmasters on a 5.0 Mustang with headers and an H pipe and they sounded very nice
