I just checked AAP's weekly ads and....

I noticed their Oil Change specials are now featuring Fram Filters? While I was living in NY AAP only carried Purolator, K&N and Mobil 1 oil filters, that is if my memory serves me. Did they take on the Fram line and drop Purolator? That would really stink!!!

No they still have Purolator just i see the d amn orange wall of death is there now in force..

idiots,they'll dump the AA purolators over some tiny flakes but they stock that orange c rap!!

I'm going to go there this morning and see for myself, this is extremely upsetting.

Glad I have a nice stock pile of Pure One filters from Amazon.com and some of the AAP oil specials. I see they're featuring Fram now ouch!

is advance getting rid of the house brand filter (red total grip)? i know for some time they were behind the counter and you had to "ask," so they wouldn't compete with the marketed brands?

I'll still get my air filter there as long as they stock Purolator, but I get oil filters from Fleetfilter now.
