I hate it when people drive without lights!

Not sure which is worse.... no headlights, or the people who are apparently too stupid/lazy/inconsiderate to dim their high beams.

The ricers here (I should say only some) must purposely misalign their beams. There's no way a stock light pattern ,even if not correctly aligned would EVER be so far out as to point level (both left and right assemblies)and directly,as if,on purpose into oncoming traffic.
The ego boost,"blind you fool" pattern is obvious. I've had to slow and 'guide right' on more than one occasion. Couldn't tell where their car was in proximity to me.

Flashing them back does nothing but confirm that what they're doing is working. It's getting so much worse.

My favorite are the ones that have a low beam burned out so they just drive around with their high beams on rather than replace the burned out one.

I had a guy finally shut his high beams off after I flashed him a few times the other night. When he did, it dropped to just parking lights. I guess having 2 dead low beams is fine if the high beams still work

If you add, "as long as they only used in severely foggy conditions," then I would agree. Otherwise, there are many factory fog lamp systems (which are usually just toys in the US market anyway) that create a lot of glare. I'm often glared worse by someone's fog lamps than I am by their headlamps.

Chevrolet trucks from a generation or so back are the worst. My 2001 Cadillac STS was also quite bad. The bulb is completely unshielded, and it was way too easy to install an uncapped bulb in the housing, creating tons of stray light.

I wonder if they're just mis-aligned? Any car I've driven with factory fog lights had them aimed very low to the ground. The pattern was particularly noticeable with the regular headlights off - the fogs only illuminated the "gap" between the front of the car and the rearmost coverage provided by the regular headlights. IE, not very much.

Dumb people. Kinda like when you see someone holding up their hand to block the sun, when the visor is in the up position.
