I do not like the way BITOG is now coming up

Now that I put my sunglasses on I may be able to tolerate it, sheesh this is terrible!

Ok, figured out how to change it back to dark view,sunglasses off and happily carrying on!

There is a 7 page thread explaining "what was changed" as well as things like how to find your post (hint: click on your name at the top then the number indicating your post count). It should be "coming up" right above or below this one.

Thank you. I see that I have to click on my total # of posts and my "previous posts" will come right up.
I also found in "My Preferences", how to change the colors of the pages that I am using. A small learning curve but, not bad.

Woke up this morning, got my coffee made, started cruising the usual web/news sites, got to BITOG, had forgotten about the change, posting this and moving on because it's just bad. If a web page can have feng shui, this one is like on the "horrible" scale. I'm sure I'll be back if I have something specific to research, but I can't imagine regular reading anymore.

What I don't like is, when you reply to someone using a quote there are not emoticons to choose from nor a spot to post pics and videos. Is there a way to get that option back?
I also dislike the left sidebar/recent topics. I would rather just scroll through threads to see what is new like I have always done.

Not complaining, it is what it is, these are just my suggestions or things I'd like to have if possible?

Just click "Use Full Editor" button after you've quoted them.

Is there also a post explaining why this is better than a "my posts" menu item?

Function appears to have been sacrificed for some fairly futile changes to form.

All of the complaint threads have been started by folks who haven't supported BITOG.

You want more features? This or that changed?

Help Wayne out with some cash so that the site can pay for those things you're demanding.

There are, checking right now, 13 color options, by the way, so, don't like "how it's coming up" - feel free to explore the new options for both color and layout.

Perhaps some time spent exploring the new format instead of just posting a dislike, and one will have solved one's "issues"...

As far as pics go, I see you need to attach a URL? That I don't like as it doesn't work for me. It was much easier before just clicking the photo option which would take me to my documents where all I had to do was click on the pic I wanted to upload.
Am I doing something wrong or is this just the way it is now?

I posted a pic(s) last night but I seen that option if I scrolled down from here.
Now I don't see it but maybe it comes up if I don't use full editor?
