I dunno. I just know i set my eyes on the open wound for the first time today and almost crapped my pants. You could fit a tennis ball in my back. It was a shocker.

Batter up!

My at home nurse just called me to schedule a dr appt for my heart. Irregular heartbeat and palpitations.

I guess I should just start counting my days.

Anxiety and stress can cause that.
Several of us here know...you need to kick back and try to keep stress at a minimum. Go on cruise mode.
Don't involve yourself in any stress you don't have too.

Best of luck!

Hang in there and include counting by weeks, months, and years. None of us truly know what our future will bring. Be thankful you have a doctor who cares and will do what's best for you in the short and long term.

Doctors told me 15 years ago "I don't know why you're still alive". After that, my initial goal was to see my youngest of five kids graduate high school. I'm now up to 10 grandchildren and counting.

Take care and know there are many people thinking of you.

Dang, I had a cyst that was like the size of a peanut once and I thought I was going to die, the one you had was a monster.

EDIT - I lanced mine and pulled it out. That was excruciating. At least I didn't dig it out with a pocketknife, I did use a scalpel and made sure it was all sterile first. But man it hurt.
