This filter is the first filter off our replacement 2.4 Hyundai engine. The filter has 5,000 miles, the oil was changed at 1,500 miles from whatever the dealership had to Valvoline 5w-30 R&P.

Off Hyundai 26300-35505 and Valvoline R&P 5w-30
On Royal Purple 10-2808 filter and Mobil ESP 5w-30

I use mine for two oil changes on my Hyundai.

I might do that at some point in the future. I’m guessing as long as it’s under Hyundai’s max oil change requirements they can’t say much about the warranty? These 2.4 are ticking time bombs so I want to make sure I keep the warranty in tact.

Filter looks great. Thank You for cut and post.

I have used a few of these on my Hyundais. Always first class when cut open. Consistent OEM quality. $10 Canadian/ $7 US at the dealer. I go at most 12,000 miles on the filter only if conditions are good, not many short trips etc...
It's a little small.

A good looking O.E. filter. Wonder what the bypass setting is on these. Thank You new guy for the C&P!
Fram and Wix equivalent show a ~9psid bypass, If the Korean part follows this, this wide, squat part number might be good to go
On Mazda, Mitsubishi, Honda, Subaru (non turbo), Kia that use this "universal" Asian thread and gasket ID.
