I would do it for sure, I would just not run more than 5000 between filter, if not oil, changes.
If the oil and the filter are both free than I would. If I need to pay for the filter than No.

I'd still do it for $5 to pay for a filter and free Syn oil of my choice. My initial thought was both would be free. But maybe a better question would be how much would you pay for name brand oil of your choice and a Fram Orange can filter LOL

I wouldn't know....I have only been using Fram for 40 years.....no failures yet........too bad I can't say the same thing for GM, Chrysler and Mazda.
There really is no scientific data to prove Fram has any issues uncommon to any other parts manufacturer. While GM went bankrupt and Chrysler has twice and is now owned by Italians.
I put Mazda on the list because I have only owned ONE Mazda and it was a lemon after 2000 miles. I finally traded it in with 18,000 miles on it.
Fram is fine.... never a bad one in 40 years.

Yeah. They have worked well for millions (billions?) so why not? The "fear" of them is mostly internet folklore and people fearing things they have no idea about.
