Has anyone used this programmer to change shift points.I have a blazer with a 4L60E and it seems to hold in gear too long. even at 1/4 throttle it doesnt shift out of first until 3k rpms. seems like a waste as tourqey as the 4.3 is. just wondering if this is the best way to get it to shift sooner.

I don't know what year your Blazer is, but 3000 RPM is too high. The shifts should be happening between 1800 and 2300 RPM's at part throttle. PM me for some more info.

I haven't used hypertech in a while. The SuperChips Xcals you can re-write the programs and change the shift points to anything you want. Or you can get an Xcal and have some outfit like Blood Enterprises write the tuning for you.
