Might be a stretch on a National forum, but does anyone know where I can buy Hylomar M locally? I am in Port St Lucie, Florida.
I found plenty of sources online, but all seem to be delivery by Friday at the earliest, I guess special shipping restrictions on the product.
I was hoping to find a Brick and Mortar location to go pick it up.

Auto parts stores should have it. We carried it at NAPA back in the day. Or a dealer should carry it for their techs to use. This is the non-stick gasket maker your talking about, right?

Yeah, that's the stuff.
Best I could see is that auto parts stores used to carry it, but no longer. I called a couple BMW dealerships, since apparently they use it, but they don't sell it. Called NAPA, they don't carry it.

Hylomar is a European brand name and has a strong following from folks who deal with European cars or have worked in Europe. Permatex is a USA product and has a broad spectrum of products. There are some who insist it has to be Hylomar but I would suggest doing your research on Permatex products before you bust your rear end looking for Hylomar.

Never seen it locally around here. Permatex #2 or High Tack does the trick for me.

What the difference between hylomar blue and M ?

Permatex 85420 Permashield Fuel Resistant Gasket Dressing & Sealant, 2 oz Tube says "compare to hylomar blue"

Available for $23.96 for pickup at:

Grainger
WEST PALM BEACH, Branch #482
1800 N. Florida Mango Rd.
WEST PALM BEACH, FL, 33409-6406

You could also try a local Fastenal retail location.

There are a few variations of the "blue", M is for medium viscosity AF in a brush can is low viscosity and brushable, the M seems to be the best for most automotive uses.
Permatex did make it under license but for some reason stopped. Hylomar brand is the only one approved (or it was) by RR for use on their jet turbines for certain applications, they helped develop it as no product could seal something that was giving them trouble.

I have tried other brands that claim comparable or same as and they are really not..

You might try calling the parts department of the local motorcycle dealers near Port St. Lucie. Some of the Honda/Yamaha dealerships in my area carry Hylomar. In any event, it won't be cheap.
