I bought this used on EBAY last fall and have just got around to fixing the one part damaged in shipping. I added a can of 50:1 premix and pulled the starter cord 2 or 3 times and off it went. There is a somewhat hidden primer bulb. The machine just blasted away for 20-30 minutes until it ran out of fuel (I did not fill the tank). I like the trigger in that you can lock it full throttle and also move it to off to stop it.

I worked at Lowes last summer in OPE and we used a backpack blower to clean up the entire outside area especially all the spilled dirt/mulch etc. (Thanks everyone).

I know we used two Troybuilt ones and they worked for awhile then one seized and the starter rope broke on the other. There is a world of difference between the TroyBuilt and the Husqvarna. One thing is the air filter. The TroyBuilt had a little piece of foam held in place by a cheap piece of plastic. It always fell off and we could never find it. The Husqvarna has a large pleated filter with a fine foam prefilter. and the assembly is screwed in with round large head bolts (unscrew with fingers). I have small Homelite backpack blower and there is no comparison between it and the Husqvarna. So far I am impressed with Husqvarna OPE and have bought 3 of their products (used) so far. I know they are a little pricey, but there is a world of difference between them and the MTD junk.
