Hulk Hogan Dead at 71

Wrestlers of that era never live to old ages. Decades of performance enhancing drugs burns the body out, especially hearts and other vital organs. I am surprised he made it to 71
Baron Von Raschke turns 85 in October. But he was a real wrestler, and a decent man. That is all the people need to know!

I read heart failure (?)
Wiki says. Abuse steroids= enlarged heart= no beuno

Hogan died of cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida, on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71.[414][415][416][417] His death came a month after he underwent major spinal fusion surgery; his wife Sky denied reports that it was part of a more serious health-related issue.[418]

He was walking with a cane in some of the recent videos.

I grew up in the " Hey-Dey" of WWE. They ALL put on quite a show, but none like the Hulk. The guy was 6'8" / 300lbs !!!!!! A monster !!!! But, unfortunately, steriods were way out of hand back in the early WWE. There was no control over them. They tear you're body to pieces when abused liked that. He's lucky to have lived that long. A lot didn't. Hell of a showman !!!! RIP Terry !!!

His body had a lot of mileage on it and as others have eluded to, it might be surprising to some that he has lived as long as he has considering how many of his contemporaries have passed at much younger ages.

After WCW folded it seems like the Hulkster had to have some major surgery just to be able to perform in one major event. Some of these guys are quite literally crippled by this profession to the point that they are forced into retirement or quitting because of external or internal injuries or the cumulative impact of both.

Wrestling may be predetermined but it's still hard on the body. The injuries are very real . Incredible athletes especially the ones rocking in in the ring today
