Huge Youtube home thumbnails

Does anyone else have this? I don't need these huge thumbnails.
Does anyone know how to fix it? I tried clearing history and looked through settings, but I don't see anything that would affect the home screen.

When I sign out they go back to normal, but I want to stay signed in.

It's on windows 10 and it does the same thing on Chrome and Firefox. It's quite annoying for me.

Interesting. Mine is a 2x6 grid and I can't find a setting to change it.
