I have a 1999 New Holland TC33D 4WD tractor with a 33-horsepower 1.5L 3-cylinder Shibaura diesel engine and hydrostatic transmission.

This tractor has been filled with OEM NH134 New Holland hydraulic fluid most of its 800-hours engine life without too much trouble.

While wanting to keep this pre-2016 emissions built tractor for many more years, I have decided to upgrade my hydraulic fluid to HPL’s top tier Tractor Life Summer hydraulic fluid.

Does anyone have any user experiences with HPL Tractor Life Hydraulic Fluid or HPL tractor specific fluids? ThanX!

Does a product data sheet exist for Tractor Life hydraulic fluid? I do not see a PDS on HPL’s website nor on Advanced Lubrication’s web store. 😢

I tried looking at it on the HPL site and there are no approvals in the product description. When I went to look at a PDS I need to sign in with an account. Maybe give them a call? I'd be interested in what you find out.

Also - what is the summer vs winter weights? Kubota only has Super UDT2, CNH has Hytrans (which is probably the spec you want to compare with) and John Deere has Hy-Gard Regular and Low Viscosity. Just curious.

I believe there is no authority for tractor hydraulic fluid. Its the wild wild west.

That said, I went from a die hard Hygard person to using Mag1/supertech, thanks to the SMEs on this forum.

This YT guy also did VOAs on several which also helped me decide.

I requested and obtained this product data sheet from HPL:
