What leads to elevated Al in new oil? Aluminum Oxide? I read Silicon is HPL's antifoam package.

As far as I know no blender would use aluminum oxide in a formulation. It is either some other aluminum compound (but at an extremely low treat level), contamination of some sort from the blending equipment, or a testing artifact. You should reach out to HPL and ask them.

The silicon could definitely be a polysiloxane anti-foaming agent.
