A TBN of 7.3 after 11,000 miles. Do you still have the Oil Filter that you took off this car?
This oil you took out could have gone at least 15,000 miles or more. 20,000 miles might be the Limit.

Yes. I changed the filter after 5k miles and there was nothing in it. I wrapped this last filter(6k miles) and examined each pleat after about a week. Could find nothing but a couple of tiny sparkles in the whole filter. No bits of carbon. Guess my engine is very clean. Always 229.5 oil.

Yeah, good results. An oxidation report is a good idea when going outside of OEM intervals though (regarding you may go longer next time).

Nice report. I’d say do an in-service sample at 15k next time and decide what to do once you get the results.

Dang at the Moly...I initially looked at the zinc and phos and thought that isn't anything special...but then I saw the Moly content.

HPL has a sweet spot for moly. This is one of their (now obsolete) race oil formulas.

If I go 15k miles on this oil, it will take me almost 3 years. Do you think it will be ok to go 3 yrs on the oil?

14.4 cSt @100...wow. Oxidative thickening for sure.
