hows this stuff for making gaskets?

i need to make a gasket for between my L26 UIM and adapter which will be ported for a coolant chamber.

The hope is that the tb will be warmed from heat transference by contact with the adapter.

Is this suitable for a my purposes?

Permatex® the Right Stuff® Gasket Maker

Permatex® the Right Stuff® Gasket Maker is temperature
rated for 450F continuous, and 500F intermittent.
It will seal just about any automotive fluid except
gasoline. Never had a problem with it.

If you can put Cheez-Whiz on a cracker, you can make
a gasket with the Right Stuff. Advance Auto sells it
for about $12 per small can, which is enough to make
a half-dozen (or more) good sized gaskets. It works
great on oil pans, and cures fast. No need to tie up
a car for 24 hours like with regular RTV.

will it resist the pressure of the cooling system?

The Right Stuff will definitely resist the pressure
of the cooling system, without a doubt.

Of course you wouldn't use it for a head gasket. And
it probably wouldn't be so great on an exhaust
manifold. Otherwise it is the king of the gasket
makers. It puts ordinary RTV to shame.

Loctite sells the exact same product under the name
"Loctite Instant Gasket", part number 30684.
