Hi.
I used to use seafoam. Some of guys told the Auto-RX is also good stuff to clean the inside of engine which is on 130k in 96 I30(VQ30). I would like to clean the inside.
Would you guys tell me about the Auto-Rx? How goo is it?
Thanks.

Don't use Seafoam in oil. Use Auto-Rx, much betterer. TOYOTA engine need Auto-Rx. Put in Auto-Rx with new oil. Leave in long time. Engine come clean, make you happy.

Unfornately I changed oil 2 weeks ago by Full Synthetic oil.
But the Auto-RX site recommaned to use just normal convention oil.The syn oil isn't good for worikng with Auto-Rx. Do I have to wait another 3 monthes? I can't throw the new oil out. It wastes my money. Do you guys have any idea about that?

Ryan, what synthetic did you use. Unless it's PAO or Ester based, you're OK. Most synthetics are Group III and work with Auto-Rx.

I think synthetic oil is OK in the clean phase, you just need to go to conventional oil in the rinse phase. How long will the oil be left in.

Taken from the ARX site-
"Auto-Rx® works best with conventional engine oil, not synthetic oil."

"Semi-synthetic engine oils can be substituted for conventional oils due to their Group III synthetic base stock content."

"For vehicles under 100,000 miles and in good condition a Group III synthetic oil is acceptable for use with Auto-Rx®."

Key words being: best, and acceptable

Shortly I'm going to go for "best" myself.
