How to make injections tick less?

I HATE listening to my injectors ticking, when it's 40F outside they usually tick for the first 10 minutes, in regular 70F days.. they tick for the first 3 minutes.

MMO doesn't help, and it makes no difference between 89, 91, and 93 octane (it recommends premium)...
 
Turn up your radio! Are you sure its injectors clicking and not piston slap?? The cure for both is the same.

Think what they would sound like up north at -20f!!
The heavy stocking cap over your ears helps quite a bit also.
I am at work in 10 minutes from a cold start.
 
Are you sure that is your injectors? The only vehicle we have that I can hear injectors on is my BMW... and they only become audible as the engine gets hot.

Tick at cold startup can be lifters, or sometimes a bad ADBV on the filter.
