How to make carpet foam

How do I make my car carpet foam when I'm cleaning it with solution? I have attachment brushes, but is just pouring soap and water all across the carpet and then using a drill brush to scrub it going to make it foam? Thanks.

Moisten any rug with water first. A fine spray will get you started.
Then take your soap mixture and agitate it (shake it in a half filled gallon jug).
Apply that foam to the moistened rug and brush in as needed.
Remove soapy/dirty water with a vacuum or microfiber towel.

I simply use a generic non foaming carpet cleaner. After spraying I just blot the area to be cleaned with a solution dampened soft cloth then “rinse” the area with a water wet soft cloth. A final scrub with a clean dry cloth then air dry. A brush will likely tear the fibers and look worse when dry than the stain you’re trying to remove.
