How to cook bacon

I take a sheet of heavy duty large foil the 18" width kind.

Rip off about 2ft turn edges up to fit grill.
The important part.
LEAVE about an inch of airspace on all 4 sides so heat from grill can escape.

Put grill on medium. put foil on grill. lay out entire pack of bacon on grill.

after 5-6min check if its rendering turn down to low.. if not wait a couple mins.

5min later or so. check again.. now is the crucial time.. bacon goes from oink to charcoal in only a couple mins.
Flip once when its almost done to crisp the other side (takes another min or 2)
Remove when done.. remembering that hot bacon appears less done.

turn off grill.

Pour nearly pure bacon grease off foil into container for later use.

Enjoy bacon.

Easy, keeps mess outside, no cleanup, whole pack in one go.
also better to pull off slightly early.. dont burn the bacon to get that last bit of white off.
a microwave will finish off 4 undercooked slices in 20-30s

pic is 12oz pkg of center cut store brand. almost done and on low, I have cooked 24oz pkg on same grill but its a squeeze.

In the oven on stone pans. 350 and about 12-18 minutes depending on how thick the bacon is to start with. Pour off all rendered grease for cooking or other needs. Easy to get an even and straight piece of bacon every time.

I also often cook my bacon on the grill but I don't use foil. I put it directly on the grill so all the grease drips out of it. It's slightly healthier that way.

I never thought pan frying was a good way to cook bacon . As it's cooking it gets wavy and doesnt come in contact with the pan very well . However my Air Fryer cooks it thoroughly and evenly .
Starting with a cold oven, 350-400* for 25-30 mins

I used to oven cook my bacon until I tried cooking it with my wok. Perfection every single time.

The fatal flaw in your method is the house is deprived of that wonderful aroma.

Cast iron skillet until crispy, no press. I like the curly fatty parts that get cooked a little less. Will never change methods.

So you lay them radially (like spokes) in your wok?
Nope, just dump them in, turn it often. The wok heats all the surface area evenly so whatever is either in bacon grease or touching the surface is cooking. I pull out individual pieces when done, but really it's all cooked within minutes of each other.
