How Thin Oil's Kill Your Engine, the Magic Mechanic Show

I am thoroughly disappointed. I went to the YouTube page so I could see comments for this video. Most of them were were actually calm and tried to provide factual info, rather than flaming this joker.

I think he has a good voice for what he does, and the room he’s in is probably good for a YouTube channel, but he doesn’t get a ton of views (if I remember) and he doesn’t seem to really know what he’s talking about all that much. More old school basics with a ton of opinion. I’ve watched a few of his videos…think he had something on Amsoil (he may be an Amsoil dealer or something) but his knowledge isn’t going to reach the level of people on here. Truthfully when discussing oil almost no one on YouTube is able to give you the information this place does.

Regarding YouTube and oil…the “famous” videos on YouTube/oil are people telling you to change your oil every 3,000 miles…with no accurate explanation for it. All other oil videos get no hits. If Bob is the oil guy had their own channel (and they should), they’d suffer because it’s everything no one wants to hear. IMO.

Lubrication Explained is the #1 source of thoughtful and well done oil videos on YouTube in my opinion. So far he has been one of very few to delve deep and actually know what he’s talking about.
