How Reliable are Ford Focus's?

NADA is a more realisitic idea of value vs. KBB.

Focus is a good car. The Duratech engines are a winner. The Zetec was a big winner in the early years... the SPI, was good for 100K miles...not so great.

I have put 111K miles on a Zetec 2001 Focus I bought used in 04. Nothing failed that isn't wear/tear from normal driving. It's been a good work car.

My wife's little SPI has 150,000 miles on it right now and still runs like a top. Not the smoothest or most powerful engine in the world however.
