I would guess between 1/2 to 1 quart of oil.
The line between "Add" and "Full" on most vehicles is exactly 1 quart. So here's an easy way to find out. Before removing the filter, make sure the oil in your car is exactly on the fill line. Change the oil filter. Start the engine and let it idle for 20-30 seconds. Wait a few minutes and check the dipstick again. The amount of oil you need to add to get it back to the full mark will give you your answer.
If you're the type that likes to pre-fills the new filter, that's fine. Just be sure not to spill any out when you install it on the block, and secondly, make sure the oil you use is the same bottle you use to fill to get it to the "Full" mark.
