How Much Gas Do You Leave in The Tank?

I would give them about 1/2 tank or so. For sure I wouldn't let the person leave w/no gas in the tank. I also make sure all the servicing is done and the fluid levels are ok and there are no known problems. I will disclose any problems that i know of. That's just the decent thing to do.

I would actually want a vehicle, in that situation, to have as little fuel available as is possible. I simply do not trust any POL that the previous owner has been using in the vehicle. I would immediately stop at the nearest Shell and begin fueling with *my* favorite fuel.
