How McDonalds 2nd job would help me

I think it would help me because McDonalds is LUNCH FOOD. Allow me to explain...

I wake up early, and either drive or be driven in (??) to Dunkin Donuts. THE WHOLE TIME I AM WORKING, I FEEL DRAGGY. There is NO set position, and sometimes making coffee fast can be HARD (for me.) So. If I get this 2nd job at McDonalds (the biggest sticky wicket was that I had a low beard, I explained that Dunkin Donuts really doesnt care about this at their restaurant but I came back shaved AFTER interview, to show them..) - it is LUNCH FOOD. AND it is AIR CONDITIONED in there. So.. PERFECT work environment! And SUPER busy too (all school kids.) So, if I eat some LUNCH FOOD.. I could probably EASILY work until closing. AND McDonalds has better system to get an order to a customer.

They have a sign up "Hiring part-time,"
Employee spilled the beans "They are looking for closers,"
I been a closer at McDonalds in Florida,
The app the manager gave me was sort of a "manager reayd to hire" app it looked like, a "Quick app".........

I think I got the job.
And yes, went in full Dunkin Donuts uniform. Shirt, hat, smock.

So, if I have two full-time incomes:

1. How much of it gets vacuumed away by ACA?
2. Wouldnt this be AWESOME?????????????????

It would be like I drag in the A.M... and get my energy, perhaps second wind, back IN the McDonalds, WHILE working. Due to the lunch food, and air conditioning.

You can always work them both and tell yourself "it's only this week" then quit the one that seems worse.

No, I am not. Carnoobie is from the great great country of Canada that shares OVERKILL's fine membership, and he is a great guy.

I post from New Jersey, and it has been verified that I am not "Carnoobie" many months ago when I fell for baits.

Go apply at a non corporate restaurant if you wish to learn cooking. Fast food joints offer very little advancement and low pay doing mindless boring tasks that yield a small amount valuable work experience coming from time spent there to anything but another fast food chain.

Not sure why you would spend thousands on engine work in a truck worth 2-3k if you're lucky.

I love Volvo's but wouldn't be my 1st choice if you're not real handy with fixing , they can have problems and expensive ones at that .

Question: do you want to actually make progress in your life? Seriously. Sell the Blazer, sell all the cars you have, forget everything about wanting a new car except a gas sipping econobox. Then, WORK YOUR A$$ OFF! When you feel draggy and tired, that is the point you have to buck up and push through it and start making progress. When that happens, when you're tired and dragging butt, and you push past it again, you'll be making steps forward and progressing instead of staying stuck in a rut. Maybe eventually, you'll start enjoying feeling wiped out from working so hard because you know you've done something and you made progress in your life.

So yea, a 2nd job would be great for you.

I hope you left your prior McDonald's employment on good terms-if the prior McDs didn't "release" you, you might have trouble getting hired by a new one. In my (extensive) McDonald's owner/operator experience, your experience working there will depend on the quality of the owner-it can be a decent job if you are desperate for employment-but I would be on the hunt for something better.

If you can hack the many hours of work, go for it.
You can always just do it for a time, until you pay down your debts.
You are showing real ambition, so I offer you my congats.
