How many people still use checks?

Actually, that comparison is not really true. It wouldn't be productive to burn a home down on purpose. But mailing off bills serves many.

About the only time I don't swipe my credit card before the clerk is done is when some nimrod with a checkbook stands in front of the credit card terminal slowly putting their check book away.

I finally set up electronic payment for my bills and used the Gary Allan model. I like the combination of control and simplicity.

I think their is a failsafe if you have a papercopy w/ checks. Lets say someone rubs a magnet over the harddrive and erases it? LOL
I feel a whole lot safer with checks. The plus side is it helps with jobs and the economy. Im not commiting radoms acts that devistate to create jobs. Im using a system in place to keep jobs.There is a choice and I excercise to use it.
