I agree with y ou Johnny, but some people like to hear the juicy details as to why it is better. People are still searching for that on bit of information that tips the scale in favor of X Y or Z. I don't need to hear why it is better, but I do prefer it and like it better than the others. So why is it technically better?

JMO, they refine it, blend it/with their chosen additives, package it and sell it. A one stop shop if you will.

The other main thing that makes it better, it pays my pension and insurance.

I like it better because....from reading the UOA's on SOPUS products it appears that they all have excellent add packs. Lots of Boron, phosphorus, zinc and Molly.

Why does Valvoline use so much sodium as a detergent in their add packs? They seem to like to leave out the more expensive items from their add packs. I could be wrong....but convince me that Valvoline has better add packs than SOPUS products. Please show us the meat.....

i have 5 quarts of pyb sitting on the shelf in my laundry room, so im sure one of my cars will get it this spring. my grand prix has Pennzoil Platinum in her right now, and im really liking it...

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah, I always liked pennzoil yellow bottle. Had the 91' grand am, and used pennzoil yellow bottle with the internal oil filter on that car and had it till about 290k miles. Never a problem. Used valvoline some on the 96' grand am oil leaker with some lucas. I myself think pennzoil may have a stronger add pack, and I dont know why anyone would put sodium in their oil; way beyond my knowledge!

I've used PYB in the past, and I will again, when pricing is favorable.
I may have some in the stash, not sure.
I have PP in one car right now.
Always did like Pennzoil, while I've used only a little Valvoline, and I consider Castrol GTX overpriced, although I have gotten a few deals on it.
PYB seems like a solid oil at a decent everyday price.

I dont really care that pennzoil is cheaper than valvoline. There are certain things that I hate about valvoline. YES, pennzoil is by far a better value in my eyes than valvoline. I personally think that NAPA oil, even though made by or whatever by valvoline; isnt as good as pennzoil or valvoline. Just my 2 cents.

Been using Pennzoil for the last 40 yrs, and I don't see anything changing in the future.

LMAO 2 times, one for the wax and the other for drive a hybrid.

PU in my moms 07 Altima.
I really wish Pennzoil would make a HM synthetic oil.

I run M1 HM in my dads 01 Supercharged Frontier with 228k mainly because of a very slight rear main seal leak.

M1 HM in my 93 Hardbody ,and Amsoil ASL in my 04 Frontier ,but I have been thinking about PU for this one.
What do yall think?
