how long does it take you to change your oil?

20 minutes. Once it's on the lift I pull the filter and drain plug. While it's draining I get the new filter ready, and then install it and the drain plug. Once that's done I fill it, get back under and double check the drain plug, start and run it for a couple minutes, and then shut it off and double check the oil level on the dipstick.

The pickup may take an extra 5 if I decide to grease it while changing the oil.

On my antiques, it takes close to 2 hours because of all the other things I attend to at the same time. daily drivers get done in as little as 15 minutes if it's cold out, every other change takes about twice that as I grease everything then.

I guess I forgot it only take about 3 minutes for a gas engine to drain out. I usually take my truck out and drive it and then let it sit for about an hour this allows the oil to be nice and warm but not so warm that it will burn me to death. On my truck it take 30 minutes just for all the oil to drain out.
