How long do Lube Control and Fuel Power store?

That new Lube Control Fuel Power web site is great! Very well designed web site.

I do have a question. I have just one vehicle and it takes me a while to just a full container of Fuel Power or Lube Control. How long do these products successfully store (in closed containers) without any change in the products?

Good question. It took me a year to go through my 1st bottle and have 2 waiting to be used.

On their website, STP lists the shelf life of all their fuel and oil treatments as "indefinite." Assuming that LC and FP may use similar classes of petrochemicals/solvents, I'd guess they may be indefinite as well.

According to Dyson Analysis paper by MolaKule, section 6.2 states that @20C, component X will evaporate in three weeks. I have kept a tightly closed, full container for over 9 months in varying temps and had no noticable loss due to evaporation.

The FP that gets used regularly, seems to give the same performance from start to finish in the gallon jug. Usually takes me several months to go through a gallon.

Odis advises these products will last many years on the shelf.

If the bottle is kept capped, I see no reason why it wouldn't last at least five years.
