How long can a side by side sit unused?

If it's on a working trickle charger, it won't freeze.

Noco still owes me $400 for ruining 2 batteries when it failed to maintain them and they froze.

That's when they told me about the "safety". And acted like -4* was some crazy low temperature.
Maybe in Florida, but thata nice winter day here.
You don't have a nice garage to keep stuff in? I see you're in alaska, but I'd say if you're at -4, you have bigger issues than a dead battery. Like all the water pipes freezing, but then again maybe they design stuff differently up there.

It gets down to -60*.... it's -10* right now. I haven't taken my winter coat out yet.

Regardless, -4F will be extremely hard on any trickle charger. NOCO's are still about the best out there.

So test your theory and pull the battery cable, see if it starts after its next rest.

I'd find some sort of heavy duty solar panel if it were my ride.
