How log does it take for PS fl;uid to circulate

Old thread I know but had the exact question. Bumped for general benefit.

Disconnect the return hose. Start the engine. Start timing on a stop watch. You’ll find that the reservoir empties in seconds. So, if the reservoir holds about half the fluid, and you know the time to empty, then you’ve got your data.

Or, take my word for it: it circulates several times a minute. You don’t even need to drive it to circulate the fluid.
