How is this process????

Hi,

I just bought a variety of products, planning to use them individually, or as a multi-step application, depending on the conditions, etc...

My plan is:
-menzerna final polish II
-klasse all in one
-menzerna high gloss acrylic shield
-p21s, 3M or meguiars gold class wax

Is this overkill or too many products? Id be applying all but the acrylic shield with a PC7424 with the appropriate (no cut) buffing pads.

Suggestions???

In my opinion you could omit the waxes. Apply the Klasse AIO by hand, the PC wastes too much of the expensive brew. My choice would be (in order) AIO, polish, shield. The P21S (or P100 at a bike shop) will add a nice glow and it's a cinch to use but it will be short lived. A spray on wipe off sealant like Aquawax would help boost the acrylic shield when used occasionally and last much longer.

Just my 2 cents from using the products mentioned.

the PC uses MORE product than doing it by hand???!!!???

I was under the impression that one reason why the PC is so good is that you can apply a nice very thin layer, conserving product...

My problem with doing it by hand is that the applicator gets saturated, but requires pressure to spread what is in it... so in the name of no presure, I add more product.

Perhaps Im wasing a LOT!!!

A microfiber application pad moistened (and squeezed out) with water first will do an average sedan and require an ounce or less. No pressure is necessary just good eysight to see the layer going on. The pad on the PC will require that much just to get primed before it begins to work well. If you've got scads of AIO or aren't concerned about the cost then use the PC. Lightly moisten the pad first.
