These are the pictures a family member sent me of their car. They don't do any maintenance because they have a 2013 Toyota rav4. They just add gas and drive and it's been okay for 12 years this way. Sometimes they go to Walmart for an oil change. Anyway, I asked them to take some pictures of the brakes for me as it's been years since I've seen them and changed the brakes for them. I don't even remember what or when. I think it may have been 2018 with Power stop pads. Anyway, how do these pads look? Looks like the bottom picture has some meat left. The top picture, of the rear pads, looks low. They don't report and squeaking or squealing. And what about the rotors? They live a few hours away but if it's an urgent issue I'll try to visit and replace the pads (and rotors). Is that rust a concern? I don't have that sort of rotor rust on my rav4.
