How do I know when someone comments on my post?

When I post something on BITOG, how do I know when someone comments on it? Is there an option under "My Stuff"?

On Facebook, I get email alerts when someone comments on my status. Is there any way to get email alerts when someone comments on my post?

If you posted using "quick reply", you can then go to "Topic Options" and select "Add Topic to your Watched Topics". You can disable reply notifications the same way.

If you're using the "full reply screen", there's a check box for reply notification (i.e. "Add this thread to my Watched Topics").

If you go into the full reply screen you can select the "Add this thread to my Watched Topics" box and get email notifications.

Or open up the topic then upper left there is a Topic options and you can select "add to your watched topics".

Either way works.

Or if you are really curious, open BITOG and go to your topic!
For me that seems to take less time than dealing with notifications.

It's a catch 22, back in my early days of "foruming" I used the email notifications a LOT......but with busy forums like BITOG......I find it easier just to go back to the original thread

Under "My Stuff" there's a listing for "My Posts" (as in, posts you made....) - easy peezy
