Do you have a hitch?
Well if there is no factory hitch it's safe to assume it does not have a tow package. I do tow quite often but with a manual trans I don't have a way to easily add a cooler. It's not as simplistic as that. Obviously with an answer like that you don't tow anything.
Actually, many times, tow package means tow ready or tow capable..... wiring, upgraded cooling, gearing, etc. So it has provisions for a tow hitch but tow hitch is dealer or owner installed. Very creative marketing and use of words.Do you have a hitch?
If you are turning 5,000 rpms at 30 mph.............you have the towing package. See if you can check the vin # for oem info/go to a dealer for this info. How do I find out if I have a towing package?

My toyota sienna has none of that but has the tow package. It does have a engine oil cooler but not extra trans cooler. that's all the sienna gets with the tow package. After a little search I see that Toyota includes the trailer wiring harness and plug with the tow package. They also include a lower rear gear ratio which translates to lower gas mileage than standard and transmission cooling modifications, although I could not find out what that means, it could be a larger cooler or just a cooler or a fan for the tranny cooler.
With a comment like this it's obvious you don't snowshoe. It's not as simplistic as that. Obviously with an answer like that you don't tow anything.
Well....I don't have snow shoes--------but I tow my 5,000 pound-30 foot travel trailer literally all over the country. With a comment like this it's obvious you don't snowshoe.
...and you likely don't need a transmission lubricant cooler with a manual, unless it's pretty severe towing duty. Sometimes, I believe, OEMs cool the rear end first, at times, versus the manual trans...Well if there is no factory hitch it's safe to assume it does not have a tow package.
