How do i get this Suzuki flywheel off?

Its an 89 Suzuki LT4WD.

Do I need the special tool?

I am using this gear puller, do I just need to crank it a little harder or am I doing it totally wrong?

Take the nut off first?

If that's the rotor for the magneto then you should get the puller for it. Don't risk breaking the rotor with that gear puller. The specific tool will thread over the center shaft and then you'll thread the push rod into the center and it will pull the rotor off.

I'd go buy the tool.

I took one nut off already, the one pictured looks like its stamped onto the flywheel.

I don't mind the risk of breaking the rotor.

The engine is seized, I'm just parting it out at the moment.

Heat it up with a torch a little and tap the outer edges with a ball-pein hammer, maybe it'll come off.

Does not look that way to me. Looks like a separate piece that needs to be backed off. Let us know how this works out!

Tackling this soon, the 30mm open ended wrench I have would have just slipped off.

Finally found a deep socket 30mm.

So are these Suzuki flywheel bolts tightened clockwise or counter clockwise?
